June 2010 Kits

This is my very first month launching my scrapbook project kit website!  This is so exciting for me and a dream come true.  So many people over the past few years have encouraged me in this direction and I finally decided to take the plunge!  My goal is to bring you the scrapbook and paper craft kits you are looking for.  So please post here on the blog or contact me via e-mail at any time with your feedback.  I want to hear from you!

So, lets take a real look at the June kits.  How about we start with the Good Eats Recipe Mini album kit?  The love the old fashioned feel of this book and the fact that it is the perfect size to have out while baking.  How many times I've had out a large cookbook that just kept getting in the way!  I love the fact you just flip to the page you want and start cooking one of your favorite recipes.  My book is a collection of recipes from my grandmother, mom, and friends.  So many yummy and treasured recipes are in this book.

Each page has it's own unique style and design!  You will find clipped pages, lower pocket pages, and side pocket pages, right along with single recipe card pages  This is a great scrapbook kit to get your creative juices flowing.  You can actually fill this little book with a lot of recipe cards since it has the pockets and clip.  That means you can fit several recipe cards into one pocket or under the clip allowing you to maximize your space.  The photo above is one of my mom's cookie recipes that she shared with me many years ago.  There is something that is very special to me seeing that recipe in my mom's own handwriting.  See why hand journaling is so important?

The second kit for June is the Summer Birdhouse project kit.  Wooden birdhouses have to be one of my favorite things to alter.  I love the fact that you can make them seasonal because there are always birds around.  So this one is for summer and as you can see in the photo above I have it displayed proudly on my fireplace mantle.  I actually create seasonal displays year round (spring, summer, fall, and winter) and a birdhouse is a wonderful part of a seasonal display.  What do you think?  Should I offer seasonal birdhouse kits over the course of the next two years?  So may a winter birdhouse kit?

As you can see in the photo I have added a bird to the perch.  Although this is not included in the paper crafting project kit I wanted to show you how I add the bird to my seasonal display.  Right now we seem to have cardinals everywhere and my 6 year old loves to spot them so I thought she would have great fun seeing one in our living room each day.

Please feel free to leave me a comment and let me know which kit is your favorite!  I love hearing from you!

Welcome to Paper Fashions Boutique!

I am glad you found my website and blog!

This blog will be the weekly place where I will keep you up to date about what is happening at Paper Fashions Boutique.  Sometimes, just while working on the next months scrapbook project kit I may put up a very small teaser sneak peek.  Or I may hint at something that is coming for a future kit.  Either way, this is the place to check when you are looking for new information!  Also make sure you are on the Paper Fashions Boutique newsletter list so you don't miss kit release announcements.  You can find a link right on the home page of the website.  http://www.paperfashionsboutique.com/

The concept of Paper Fashions Boutique is simple.  We create distinctive Scrapbook project kits for you!  Each month will be something different.  There will always be a rotating variety of kits such as layout kits, mini album kits, altered item kits, home decor kits, gift item kits, and card kits.  Each kit comes with supplies and step by step instructions.  If you see a kit you like, make sure to purchase it right away.  I create my kits in a limited number and once they are gone, they are gone.  After kits sell out each month the instructions will then be posted on the site for purchase.  So if you miss a kit, you can still purchase the instructions, gather your own supplies, and create the project on your own.  Instructions will be sent to you at the e-mail address listed in paypal after you have made the purchase.  (I have to do this manually so your instructions will not come immediately)

There is no subscription to my project kits.  You browse and shop when you like, and then make your purchases based on what you like best.  I will track what sells quickly to make sure I am meeting the demand of what people are looking for.  I read all comments on this blog so this is a great place to tell me what you like and what you would like to see more of!

If you live in the Plover, Wisconsin area and prefer to pick up your kit, please contact me via e-mail.  This way you will not get charged shipping by purchasing through the paypal shopping cart system.   So you let me know, I send you an invoice minus shipping (sales tax will still apply in WI) and then once you pay the invoice I will send out your kit.  For other questions, please check the FAQ area of the website.  If you still have questions about anything at all, please contact me via e-mail info at paperfashionsboutique dot com.  I am always thrilled to hear from customers and love to help!
